Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of 20 acres strawberries and will report directly to the General Manager. He or she will supervise all aspects of growing fresh fruits from planting, cultivation and harvesting of the crops to managing the implementation of technical procedures within the high- technology greenhouse environment.
The requirements
He or she has a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Grower Strawberries in a high- tech glass greenhouse environment. A strong understanding of plant growth as well as plant physiology and interaction with varying environmental conditions and requirements is essential. He or she is familiar with Priva computer software and horticultural terminology. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills in English, written and oral. An additional language (e.g. Spanish) will be considered as an advantage.
The candidate we’re looking for must have an American or Mexican citizenship. It’s almost impossible to get a working permit if you’re from another (European) country.
